Original Acrylic Paintings | Individual and Group Instruction

It begins with an idea…

Acrylic flow painting has a life and personality all its own and provides a unique artistic experience. Having been a potter for 10 years, I find this to be a new and exciting way to explore art. Incorporating color and movement, it offers unlimited possibilities for self-expression, creativity and development of new and different techniques.  Each painting is a contemporary original and almost impossible to duplicate in either palette or style.

I like to use gallery wrapped heavy duty canvases Level 3 with 1.5 inch frame profile and can provide custom made frames for the finished work.

Durham, NC, is now my home but I have had the pleasure and experience of living in several different states, each with its own unique characteristics.

Thank you for visiting my website.  Enjoy.

Here is a black and white piece that I donated to one of the past Durham Arts Council annual auctions. — Support the arts in any way that you can!

Individual and Group Instruction / Functions

Fun, instructional hands-on sessions for artists of all ages and skill levels. Learn how to create your own beautiful, personal works of art. I offer 1:1 and small group sessions to introduce you to the joys (and occasional frustrations) of acrylic pour painting. Get paint on your hands and put a smile on your face as you learn the basic techniques of this art form — and take home your original masterpiece after it dries. (In-person sessions mainly in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area)

Give the gift of a creative experience

An art lesson is a great gift idea for novices, budding artists, and the “art curious.” Buy a gift certificate and let the student decide when to schedule the lesson and what style(s) to explore. Students will paint two canvases per lesson.
